Kevinwood is celebrating fifty years since it was created at a workshop with the Festival of St Cecilia.

which will include works such as the Carnival of the Animals - played by Kevinwood at Dubbo Zoo and the 1812 Overture - which went off (with a bang) in the old St Kevins Church (now the school library) many years ago.
Kevinwood is the name of the musical groups based at St Kevins Church, Eastwood.
For fifty years (1974-2023) Kevinwood was the driving force behind the Festival of St. Cecilia, held annually on the Feast of Christ the King, the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Cecilia (22nd November)
All musical groups take part in community events throughout Sydney and enjoy occasional trips to country events. The Kevinwood Bells are active participants in Australasian symposium of the Handbells Society of Australasia and have represented Australia at World events.
